2/22/15 update

Its been slow going lately.  Haven't had much time to spend on the car.  I did get a chance to throw a couple hours at it today.  Wasn't in the mood to take parts off and I really wanted to see how it looked underneath that drivers side seat pan.  I had a bad feeling some moisture had settled in and caused a decent amount of rust.  After finally getting it cut out, my fears were realized.  Glad I bought a full floor pan for that side.  I'll be using a bit more it than originally thought.  Oddly enough, I should still be able to save the front part of the pan as it still looks very solid.
Yeah, it wasn't too pretty under that seat pan.  Not sure how that moisture got in there.  Its a bit more than just surface rust.  It scaled off pretty bad in some areas.  Luckily it stopped right at the front seam of the seat pan.  I'll be cutting it there and butting up the new floor section to the back seat.

Looks like it splashed up on the pan.  Does a number on bare metal.  I'll be cleaning this part up as its just surface rust.

Wanted to take a look at one of the blistered sections in the engine compartment.  25 years ago, I had filled these areas with filler.  I'll be fixing it correctly this time around by cutting out the bad areas and welding in new metal.
